On March 26, 2022, the newly elected officers of the RGV Diablo Dogs Pound 956 of the Military Order of the Devil Dogs were installed. The newest Pound of the Texas Pack, the RGV Diablo Dogs, is the “fun and honor society” of the Rio Grande Valley Detachment of the Marine Corps League.
Made up of the most active members in the detachment, the “Dogs,” as they are called, spend time in fellowship and fun, but also do a lot for their surrounding community. Historically, the Military Order of the Devil Dogs has prided itself in its support of numerous Children’s and Veterans Hospitals across the country. The RGV Diablo Dogs plan to support multiple children’s hospitals in the Rio Grande Valley as well as other causes and organizations, such as animal shelters and food banks.
